ASSEMBLY
OF THE TRACK SYSTEM
Attach
one track on the front edge of the table with the lipped edge lined up on the
front edge of the table. Set
the other track on the back edge of the table with the lipped edge along the
back edge.
Hold the track in place with c-clamps. You
may also use nuts & bolts or screws if you want it permanently mounted on
the table. Hold in place with c-clamps until you are sure the tracks are parallel.
Set
the wheels of the large lower trolley on the tracks. Roll it from the far left
side to the far right side to make sure it rolls freely.
↔
The
two tracks must be perfectly parallel or the trolley will not roll freely.
After
you set the track, you can hold it in place with the c-clamps or attach it
permanently with bolts and wing nuts or screws
( not included.) Bolts
and screws should be counter sunk. The
best way to mount the tracks on the table top is with screws or bolts.
Each track should be attached in three places, near each end and in the
middle.
The
track may have a slight bow to it. This
will not affect the performance of the track system if properly attached to the
table.
ASSEMBLE
THE TROLLEY
Remove
the large black, plastic wheels from the EQ2 cart. Keep the wheels and screws.
You may want to use the original EQ2 system again because it is so portable,
just put the wheels back on.
Attach
the cart from the EQ2 to the smaller upper trolley of the Track System. Turn
the EQ2 cart bottom up ( the wheel holes will be facing up). Place
the upper trolley, bottom up, on top of the EQ2 cart. Set the upper trolley 2 ½”
from the back of the EQ2 cart edge, opposite the handles. Hold them together
with C-clamps and attach them together with screws (
2 screws included).
SET
UP THE SYSTEM FOR QUILTING
Place
the wheels of the lower trolley on the tracks. Place
the wheels of the upper trolley on the lipped edge of the lower trolley
with the handles toward the front. Make
sure it rolls freely side to side, and front to back.
Set
your machine on the top of the trolleys with the motor end of the machine to the
back, the machine head towards the front. Line
up the machine motor over the back wheels as evenly as possible.
You
do not need to bolt down the machine, its weight will keep it in place Again…using
the handles, make sure the trolleys roll freely in all directions. DO
NOT JERK THE TROLLEY…..MOVE IT VERY

UP THE EQ2 FRAME WITH THE TRACK SYSTEM
Assemble
the EQ2 frame according to the directions. Leave
the black plastic wheels off the machine cart.
You
do not need the small rail on the back of the table while using the EQ2 TRACK
System ( EQ2 directions ), the back track will take its place. Keep
the wheels and small back rail for future use. Set
up the tracks as described above
Set
the front legs of the EQ2 frame on the front track and attach them with
c-clamps, nuts and bolts, or screws.
Place
a spacer block under each of the back legs and attach them to the table with

to the EQ2 directions, Prepare
your quilt by basting the 3 layers together, as you do for the EQ2 System.

NOT JERK THE TROLLEY…..MOVE IT VERY
SL-O-O-O-O-WLY WHILE
THE MACHINE SEWING SPEED IS SEWING FAST. BEGIN
WITH SMALL CIRCLES AND FIGURE EIGHTS. FAST FOOT……SLOW HANDS If
the stitches are long, and loopy on the bottom, you are moving the trolley too
fast. If
you move the trolley too slowly, the stitches will look like a bunch of small
knots. You regulate the stitch
length by how fast the trolley is moved with the sewing machine at full speed.
After practice you will be able to regulate the stitches. The Easy Quilter Track System is made
from wood. Use and store it as fine furniture.
Keep it away from water and moisture. Easy
Quilter and the company owners are not liable for any damage or harm caused by
the improper use of EASY
